Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Workers comp

I was injured on job april 23. Since then I have had surgery from the injury. I have been under docters care since and have been receiving compensation for Workers comp.

My Employees Human Resource department are saying that I am out on Family and Medical Leave therefor I am only aloud 12 weeks of compensation. I received a letter from HR stating that I am now on Long term disability and have to start paying for families medical insurance. I went out on Workers comp why are they claimg now is will be Family leave
