Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

My husband is in jail being held on the following charges.

1st degree assault, vehicle & criminal eluding, DUI, failure to stop at red light, no headlights, no proof of license or insurance. What might he be facing on his 12/10/08 court date.

Well, the 1st degree assault is often a 10 year minimum mandatory prison sentence (10-32) if it is a crime of violence.

For the 1st degree assault, he is facing mandatory prison. It is important any plea bargain not have a mandatory prison charge. Good luck.

You husband faces serious charges with potential mandatory prison time. Depending on what stage in the proceedings your husbands case is in, depends on what happens. At some point he will need experienced legal counsel to properly defend his rights.
