Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Defense

My daughter (21 years old) was ordered by the court to do a class and perform 24 hours of community service last fall. She did get an extension for the community service but has not performed either one of these requirements. She is now ordered to a hearing in 2 weeks about withdrawl of the sentence defferment. How should she proceed? Should she quickly get into the class and doe the 24 hours? What kind of attorney shoud she get. How can she prepare. She is also 8 months pregnant.

For the deferred judgment and sentence, this is its last gasp. If she wants to keep the deferred, she will need to get enrolled, get completed, and bring POC (proof of completion) to the Court. Be in the right courtroom at the time designated. Even then, she may lose the deferred judgment and sentence, but we should be able to keep her out of jail if we can show good faith. She should at least have a POE to give the Court. Other things will happen. If she does not go, a warrant will issue. If she does not have all the hours done before court, she will need a lawyer. This firm concentrates on probation, deferred sentences, sentencing hearings, post-conviction matters and appeals. This is the right law firm. If she did everything on time, she would not need me. She would not be looking at arrest. She would not be looking at jail. She has not done everything on time, so she may need me.
