Expunging felony in CO
What is the policy for expunging a class 5 felony
(forgery) in Colorado assuming the person is an
upstanding citizen and has no other convictions.

Dan Fenaughty is correct that expungment is reserved for juvenile matters. However, adult records may be sealed provided there is no conviction entered.

Depends how old you were at the time of the offense. Juvie convictions can usually be expunged. As for adults, the legislature changed the record sealing statute nearly 20 years ago. Now you can seal the record only if you are acquitted.
