Re: Father kicked son out, still have to pay childsupport?

If the court has approved the change in child support (that is, the agreement that your ex-husband signed), and the agreement has been made an order of the court, then you don't have to pay child support. If, however, the Court hasn't signed that Order, then technically you do still have to continue to pay child support. However, your attorney has more information about your situation, so if you have any doubts as to the reason for your attorney's advice, be sure to ask for an explanation and what any potential risks are if you don't pay child support until the Court signs the Order.

Hope this helps!
