Legal Question in Technology Law in Connecticut

Website Done, Client Won't Pay

This is a continuation of this question:

message.phpi=999365905&view=a

The question is, what are my next steps for receiving the payment that was promised ?

The client has the site, it is done and live on her domain, and I have only about 1/4 of what I am owed for the work.

Re: Website Done, Client Won't Pay

You obviously had a contract for the work you performed, and she breached that contract by not paying you the monies you agreed upon. ($1290.00)You have demanded payment, and she has failed to pay.

Since I am not a technology expert, I can not say if there is anything else you can do, such as remove her website or obtaining any such relief from the web host. If so, you should do so.

You can go to small claims court and sue her for breach of contract.
