Legal Question in Construction Law in Connecticut

Subpoena

I am suing my home improvement contractor for negligent work done in my home. The company which referred me to this contractor had sent out a 3rd party contractor to my home to evaluate the work from the contractor I'm suing. The problem is the online referral company nor the 3rd party contractor will release any information or even call me back. How do I get this information that I need for court legally? Sorry for the long story.

Re: Subpoena

Once you file the action, you can serve the referral company and the 3rd party contractor subpoenas to turn over the information. Go to the clerk of the court in the court house you filed the action and the clerk will explain the process.
