Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut

About five years ago, I was sentenced to 3 years probation in Connecticut for failure to appear ( in court) and immediately had the probation transferred to another state. About a year into the three years I stopped going to see the probation officer. That state eventually sent the case back to Connecticut and now I have a warrant for my arrest in the state of Connecticut. From what you've heard so far, is it possible for me to be put back on probation? If I turned myself in to the state of Connecticut would I be allowed to bond out or is someone who skipped probation not given that privilege? My goal is to put this matter behind me with minimal impact to my life. Any helpful info would be greaty appreciated.

It sounds like there is a lot at work here between all the paper shuffling. You need an attorney, that is clear. Without an attorney you can take a gamble and turn yourself over to the authorities. Depending where you are, you should find out when the bail commissioner is at the precinct so you have the shortest wait. You may be able to even get a PTA. It appears you are in Bridgeport so you should probably go around 6PM. Feel free to give us a call for more information 203.870.6700.
