Legal Question in DUI Law in Connecticut

DWI in NJ with a CT driver License.

If Isomeone is found guilty for DWI in New Jersey (first offense, no injury or accident), with no points or records before. Does Connecticut suspend the driving priviledges for that person in Connecituc?

If so, do they take the license out of the owner or they just suspend it?

If for some reasons the personis traveling to California, Iowa or Florida and the license is suspended in Connecticut. Can that license be used in other states?

Are there any particular programs at Connecticut in order to avoid license suspension for getting DWI in other states like NJ?

Please help. Thanks,

Re: DWI in NJ with a CT driver License.

Your DWI offense in NJ will effect your license in CT. This is so because of the fact that a DWI charge is a serious offense.
