Re: appearance form

An appearance form must be filed on a timely basis at the court where the action is pending. The form lets the court know how to contact you if you are representing yourself, or your attorney if you have one.

The court needs to know it had contacted you and where you reach you. If this is an uncontested divorce, you may not need to actually appear in court when the time comes.
