my child support ends in june when my child turns 18.my question is doe sthis take place automatically or do i have to make a court appereance?

If it is coming out of you paycheck, you will have to not only make a court appearance, but also file a motion to terminate and have the other parent served. Also, if the child hasn't graduated from high school by then, you'll have to keep paying until he/she does graduate or turns 19, whichever comes first. Also, if there are other children, the support doesn't get reduced proportionately; it has to be recalculated.
