Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

good afternoon i have a question i had a relationship with a female that was not a united states citizen then she was pregnant and she had some problems with the pregnancy the doctor told her she could not travel because she was at the beginning of a miss carriage but she took of then a year later she contacted me that she had a baby the baby was born in Colombia another country i have not herd from this women for about 6 -7 yrs and now she is back in the united states she is been married since and now she is threatening me she is going to get a lawyer i never new about this kid and i also have not sign no birth certificate what are the chances that she could hit me up for child support

If she can prove paternity (DNA test, for example) you're on the hook, maybe retroactively.
