Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Im in the middle of a nasty divorce. My husband (because he doesnt want the divorce) is doing everything in his power to try and hurt me. He called DCF on me and made these horrible false alligations that I let my teenage son smoke cigarettes and my friend lets him smoke weed and drink alcohol, now DCF is making my son get drug tested as well as myself. I have no problem with us taking the urine tests but DCF wants me to go to a drug facility to get a urine, hair, and drug evaluation done. I don't understand why when I have never had ANY sort of drug abuse history and no one has ever known me to to ANY sort of drug. When I asked DCF what would happen if I refuse and just went with my doctors form and got a urine test they said they would court order me to do it and it would look worse on me. My question is do they have the right to do all this to me because of a claim from a bitter ex-husband, and do they have the right to court order it? Please help!! TY

I don't know all of the facts. However, based upon what you have stated in your question, I would tell them to go get the court order. Unless there is more to the situation, I think it's ridiculous. If you don't do drugs and have no history of drug use then you shouldn't have to go through that. I would fight it. I doubt if they have enough to get a court order anyway.
