Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

We have a restraining order in place for 6mnths on my husband I want to know how long I have to hold onto his personal belongings at this address. its been 5mnths and his children keep saying they are coming and have yet to do so. He can only come here two times with a police escort to retrieve personal belongings only. he is in and out of nursing homes and cannot do so himself How long do i have to hold his items here

You didn't say whether you are going through a divorce proceeding.

You can write him a letter and give him a date by when he must pick up the belongings, and state that if he doesn't, you will be tossing them.

If you are in a divorce proceeding you should file a motion to be relieved of having to store them.
