Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Auto ownership- Loan vs. Title

My boyfriend bought me a new car 1 1/2 yrs. ago. His name is on the loan. My name is on the Title and I pay the insurance and taxes and all usual upkeep plus I've installed some extras. We are now separated. If he fails to pay on the loan, what happens to the car. What are my rights?

Can the car be repo'ed without my knowledge?
