Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

I was wondering if there is anything we can do about the neighbors blocking our driveway? We live on a dead end street and have a legal right of way to use the road. They keep blocking the driveway so no one can get in or out. they put up a fence without a permit right on there property line, and on the side with the road put a trailor with a unregistered boat there and have people park there now. This makes it hard for people to use the road. Friday our garbage man could not empty our dumpster because of this. I also am on morphine if an emergency crew had to get through, they would have a harde time. We wnet to they town and talked to first selcman who said if we got an attorney the town would be on our side. They will not even tell them to move the stuff. I feel it is because the man works for the school as a janitor. Is there anything we can do?

Yes, you can file suit against them to force them to keep the passage way clear, since they have interfered with your right to use the road.
