Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

I am 6 months pregnant and my employer and I made plans for me to take my allotted two weeks vacation and then work from home until I was able to come back to work. These plans were made 4 months ago when I first found out I was pregnant, now he decided to change everything and tell me he's gonna lay me off, can he do that and what do I do??
