Changing Survivorhsip to Tenants in Common
My girl friend owns a house. She put my name on the title with surivorship rights. Can I change it to tenants in common and what would the process be? Can I do this without her permission?

Property owners in Connecticut can chagne ownership form (Tenants in Common, Joint Tenancy) by executing a new deed to themselves. The proper way would be for the current owners listed on the deed, to both sign and execute a new deed to themselves as tenants in common.
