Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

A will was probated There was a piece of land that was in the deceased persons name. The executor of the will who received everything never put the property in his name It is still in the deceased persons name. It's been 6 years since her death. Can he be hiding something? Can he be in trouble for this? How do I go about finding information about this?

First of all, who was the beneficiary of the property? Was it the executor? Do you understand that an Executor "manages" the estate. He/she is not necessarily the beneficiary (altho he/she could be)

If the Executor is the beneficiary, then why do you care if he did not yet convey title to himself?
