Legal Question in Criminal Law in District of Columbia

Destruction of Property

I was charged and convicted for Destruction of Property in 2000 in Washington, D.C. I pleaded guilty and charge went from felony to misdeamenor. I was given 5 years probation and restitution to pay. The probation was over in 11/05. This happened 7 years ago. I want to know do I have the right to have my records expunged through the court system.

Re: Destruction of Property

Yes, you probably do(assuming all conditions of your probation have been met), but very likely will need the assistance of an attorney to see that it happens.
