Locate facility

I would like to locate a person who convicted. Is there any way I can search to find he is in which jail and contact or visit? I know his name and what kind of crime he commited and where.

If you're talking about the District of Columbia,

you can go to the D.C. Superior Courthouse at 500 Indiana Ave., N.W., go up to the 4TH floor, and

go to room 4000, and fill out the necessary paperwork to do a name search for someone charged

or convicted of a crime within the District of Columbia.

The date of birth of the person being searched for or the SS# is normally required for a valid search.
