Legal Question in DUI Law in District of Columbia

Can you please tell me specifically what the potential penalties are for hosting a social function in your home in DC with alcohol if someone under the age of 21 is invited and drinks the alcohol.? Would it matter if they don't drink? Is there anything I can do to limit my liability at such a party? Everything I've seen is confusing and contradictory and suggests DC varies greatly from Va and Md.

You could limit your potential liability by ensuring that the underage folks abstain from the consumption of all alcohol on your premises during these social functions.
