Confessed Judgement Note

What is a Confessed Judgement Note? Does this waive any legal right that I am entitled to?

A confessed judgment note is a promissory note which includes a provision allowing the holder to have judgmdent entered against the maker immedately, rather than having to sue first. The maker then has the right to move to vacate the judgment. You don't give up your right to a trial where there's an actual dispute, but it gives the creditor a big advantage.
