Re: mortgage satisfaction

You may issue one without an attorney, however, I would recommend that you use one to ensure you will not incur any liability in the future. It is a fairly simple process, and I can provide you with the necessary research and the form for the satisfaction for $500. If there are other issues that emerge, that fee would have to be revisited. thanks,

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

You can search on the internet for a form that might suffice. Also, most office supply stores sell forms that can be used but either way, the forms must be completed properly. Most attorneys only charge a nominal cost for preparation of a Satisfaction of Mortgage if you provide the full information. In my office the fee is generally about $150.00 - $200.00 for preparation.
