Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida

I have been diagnosed with bi-polar and depression3 years ago and I have been on many medications throughout the years. I have missed a lot of work including being hospitalized 3 times for suicide attempts. On the 3rd time my job called me while I was in the hospital and fired me. I live in Florida and it's a "hire at will, fire at will" state. Can they do what they did under the Americans with Disabilities Act?

Under Florida and federal law on disabilities, you would be considered disabled. Did you exceed their allowed number of PTO or sick days because of your illness? Did you attempt to work with HR or your supervisor to accommodate you due to your disability?
