Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

Corporate bankruptcy

I am retired. My former employer agreed to pay me $105,480. in 24 semi-monthly installments concurrent with the company's regular payroll. I received $61,530. During this time, the company filed Chapter 11. I am now being sued for approx. $22,000. for funds paid to me within the 90 days of the filing petition date. Do I have any recourse in this matter?

Re: Corporate bankruptcy

Contact a chapter 11 bankruptcy attorney who may be able to assist you in disputing the return of funds. Your main objective would be to argue that the company was not insolvent when it paid you the 22k.
