Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

On April 14 2010, I went to purchase a Chevrolet Equinox Lt and signed an agreement with the dealer. I had a trade in 2007 Benz which they were to pay off. They had us wait two days before picking up a car that was price right for us. They called and I went and picked up the car, two weeks later the sales manager calls me and claims that no bank will finance me and that I must return the vehicle and that the deal is off. What legal right do they have that allows them to cancel the deal and what can I do regarding this matter. Do I have any legal rights to demand that I keep the vehicle, since the agreement was signed by me and the dealer in which we both agreed on the monthy payments. And the fact that I was allowed to take the vehicle home with me. Please advise. Thank you.

This was a "yo Yo" sale. Youy need to look at the agreement to see if there is a certain date for which they have to lock in the interest rate. See a consumr lawyer. For a consumer lawyer in your area, go to
