Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Applying for Credit

I applied for credit through a dealership, and I was told I was approved through a bank. Unfortunately, the dealer could not worl out a deal. Considering my credit, I asked the dealer for the bank's and the phone number so I could use that bank for financing through another dealership. However, the dealership will not disclose the bank. Is there anything that can be done to get this information?

Re: Applying for Credit

If the bank ran a credit check on you then the name of the bank should appear on your credit report.
