Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Over Chrismas, someone used my cc for purchases and advances. I reported it to the cc and made a police report. The cc wants me to amend my police report and include the names of the people that i suspect...I gave that info to the cc but don't want to add that to the police report as I have no proof...cc says i have to or they won't cover the $$$..I'm feeling strongarmed..as they have to power over what I owe them

Agreed. It is a matter of your conscience; the cc co. has no legal right

to insist that your report include such information

Ask cc what authority it has to demand such a request before it pays you. Have it put it in writing or supply you with the writing.
