Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Credit card debt/wage garnishment/co-owned property

My ex husband has been having his wages garnished due to non-payment on a credit card. Now, his bank account has been frozen. Can the creditor go after the property that we jointly own (where i live with the children)? Should I get him to quit claim it?
