Your husband is liable for repayment of the debt because he is a cosigner, and he can be sued by the lender because of any default. Your husband is not liable for any wrongful or unlawful acts of his brother, unless he was involved in hiding or selling the motorcycle. Unless your husband's name appears on the title or registration of the motorcycle, he is not liable for damages/injury caused while it is being driven.
