Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Intent To Pay

Our homeowner's association has assessed a special fee to cover the costs of a legal battle with one of our neighbors. The homeowner's association won the judgment and is being repaid for legal fees, but has decided that it will just keep our money for ''future needs.'' I did not pay the assessment, as a show of support to my neighbor, and would now like to know just how much I have to pay them monthly to be within the legal boundaries of showing intent to pay, without sending them the entire $300.00 at once.

Re: Intent To Pay

There is no thing as "showing them your intent to pay". Call them and work something out that is satisfactory to all sides. Good luck.
