Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

loan not paid

5 years ago I gave a ''friend'' 40,000 and with a notarized letter saying it would be repaid in 2 years and/or continue to collect interest- I have not heard back from this person in several years- what can I do? Thanks
