Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I have a person I borrowed money from and he is threatening me and calling my business and trying to harass me by emails and phone calls... can he legally do this because I missed a payment? He is trying to hurt my reputation and business dealings.

What kind of threats? If they lead to bodily injury - call the police. If he is talking to your friends and causing them not to be associated with you, then this is slander and you can sue.
