Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I received a letter from a collection agency, the Federal Bond Collection, concerning a credit card I never knew I had, after checking Transunion, I found the Federal Bond had also checked my credit and the credit card had been charged off on 02/07/2008. I am 63 and disabled, I live on $730 per month disability. I can't make the specified payment, I barely get by now. What do I do? I live in Florida.

I handle such cases and it appears you may not be liable for the debt. Send a cease and desist letter to them as outlined in my web site. If they violate the letter, contact me and I will represent you and get paid my fees from the collector. see www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com
