Can judgements be taken from retirement funds in a savings account?

Assuming it is a regular savings account, then the answer is yes. If it is an IRA, 401K, pension, annuity, or cash value life insurance policy, then the answer is no. If I were you, I would consider contacting the person who has the judgment and making as settlement offer for a reduced amount in exchange for them giving you a Satisfaction of Judgment. Or just pull the money out of the bank and move it into an IRA or annuity.
