Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I am being sued by Chase Bank for 16k in credit card debt,10 months ago i new i was having trouble making min.payments due to hour loss at worand hired a debt settlement co.Was issued summons and was told by settlement co.that Chase was not dealing with 3rd.party companies.Called Chase law dept to make monthly payments till paid off.Chase said they only are offering 5 year plans with interest which is more than double what i can afford to pay$175(have pay stubs and bills and bank statements to prove this)Wanna make good on debt,where do i stand.Any help would be greatly appreciated,Thank you in advance.

You will have to defend the lawsuit. I don't know any magic trick to make them work with you on a payment plan.
It really suprises me that Chase has sued you, from my own personal experience.

You may end up in bankruptcy. If the bank does not want to deal with what you can pay, then they will get a judgment against you.
