Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

A few years ago I received an Emergency Room bill of over $200. I couldnt pay the whole thing so the company, Osprey Physicians, and I agreed on $20 a month until the bill was paid off. After I paid for three months, on time, I suddenly received a letter stating that I was in Collections. I called Osprey and sent them copies of the checks showing I had paid AS AGREED, and they still wouldn't take me out of collections plus there is a bad mark on my credit report. This was an error on their part and totally unfair to me but they refused to help so I told them to go to hell and I refused to pay the remainder of the bill which is currently $196. Can they sue me for this? Thanks for advice.
