2nd affense larceny
I was arrested for petty theft. The cop wrote the wrong story to make it out that i stole the pregnancy test when it was really my friend. but i did have the second test in my purse. i want to know what the max. charges i will be charged with. i heard that there could be jail time.

A 1st conviction is 2nd degree misdemeanor punishable by up to 60 days.A 2nd conviction is a 1st degree misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year in jail. A third conviction is a 3rd degree felony puishable by up to 5 years in prison.
