Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I didnt see, but Im pretty sure my friend keyed this guys car. He lied and told the police WE did it, he wrote this in a sworn statement, I never was even near his car, he also told our mutual friend he only saw my friend and didnt see me, but he told them he saw me because he wants his car fixed and doesnt care who pays. My friend wrote him an email and said he would be payed if he didnt press charges and signed it with my name and hers. I told her I didnt have anything to do with what she did so she wrote him another email said she would pay him and I didnt have anything to do with it and it would be her paying, not a WE effort like she was making it seem. Now I dont know what to do, the police are calling me, and not her because they dont have her info. There is a lot more to this story also for he has written me emails saying if I didnt give him her name he would come after me. I never touched his car, and I am currenty on a diversion program which I cannot get introuble on. This is all not my problem and I dont know how to get the police to see that I did nothing.

The only real way is to hire an attorney to speak on your behalf. By no means should you attempt to do this on your own because EVERYTHING you tell them, good or bad, willl be used against you. Whereas, if you have an attorney, they can explain the story for you without it being used against you. Bottom line, talk to an attorney as soon as possible.
