Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I recieved a ticket for possesion of a roach of marijuanna in the state of florida, it was in my cigarette pack probably small enough to hit 1 time. I was merely walking home from the store at around 4:30 Am not causing any trouble, and had no clue that it was there or i would have made sure it was disposed of. How should i plea to this i dont have $$ to hire a lawyer and am not sure what i can do.

Well if you didn't freely let them search you or give consent, then you may be able to get the case dismissed as a result of an illegal search. You should talk to the public defender who will be appointed since you can't afford an attorney. After talking with them they can better advise you.
