Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

To who this may concern,

From what I understand alcohol consumption is a state law that prohibits minors from possessing alcohol but not specifically drinking alcohol. I believe I may have found a loophole due to state limitations but I was wondering if you could verify this for me. If me and my friend (both 18) had a 21 year old purchase alcohol then we entered the ocean at about knee height and consumed the alcohol while in the ocean but had the 21 year old transport the alcohol to and from the ocean so we were never in possession of the alcohol on dry land, would we be legally able to drink alcohol as we stand in the ocean because alcohol is a state law and states do not have control over the ocean only the federal government does (up to 3 miles out) or would we still need to travel 3 miles out into the ocean in order to legally consume alcohol? (Me and my friend would love to drink during spring break but we want to make sure we do it legally so there are no repercussions).

Thank you very much for your time.

Creative, but you can't do that. You have to be outside the jurisdiction of the state which is three miles out, so your plan won't work. Good try though.
