suspended license

can you tell me what i need to do to get my license back , i had served over a year in prison for my dui's .

i was arrested as an abitual traffic offender and sent to prison,

i have been out now over a year , i was told by a police officer who ran my name that there was no suspension on record for my name ,

but how do i get a new license.

Well if you are not currently on a license revocation or suspension of any sort you can go to your local Department of Motor Vehicles and request a license. They will be able to more acurately inform you of your status. But if you have a clean record with no Court Ordered revocations you should be able to get your license.
