Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter with an ex who i was never married to. Since birth she has always lived with me. `Her father and I have a custody arrangement on file with the court. He gets her every other weekend and for a few hours one day a week. Hes moving 2 hours away for his work and wont be able to take her during the week. I have been living with my boyfriend (soon to be husband) and he may be reenlisting in the airforce. If he does and they decide to relocate him out of the states will the courts allow me to move myself and my daughter as well. She would have access to better schools, medical care and a better life. I would make sure shes available to visit her father whenever he wants, and set up some sort of time sharing that works for he and I. I know its important for her to have a relationship with her father. Im in florida and dont know if its relevent but he has a new baby on the way with another girl (his ex).

How refreshing for someone to consider the other party. YOu state you have papers in the court so therefore in order to leave the area you must file a Petition for Relocation. You will have to serve the father and there will be a hearing. If you both can come to an agreement as to visitation and file that with your Petition and have a consent attached there will be no problem. However, I suspect this man will want to see his daughter as he has had constant contact with her so you will have to make some arrangements that will be acceptable by the court.
