Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Can Adultry affect child custody case

I am currently married but seeing someone else. I have a 4 month old child. I know Florida is a no fault state but my current husband says that he can use my affair against me if we go to court over child custody issues. I do plan to have a future with the man that I am currently seeing. Can my current husband use this against me and would it be better if I stopped seeing the other man til after the divorce?

Re: Can Adultry affect child custody case

Custody is controlled by the best interests of the child. Unless your outside interest is affecting the child I see no relevance.
