Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Support- What could a lawyer do?

Dept of Revenue filed to establish child support order. Father served and responded months ago. Nothing has been done since. No hearing schedued yet. Do I need an attorney or just more patience? If I hired an attorney, what could they do?

Re: Child Support- What could a lawyer do?

I suggest that you hire a lawyer. Are you sure that you are the father? An attorney can make sure that the DOR follows the rules and if you are the father the attorney can insure that the child support figures are done correctly. Also visitation needs to be set up. You may call my office in Orlando.
