Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

How to get custody?

I live Florida and my ex in Texas. He filed for divorce and custody for our daughter and was given custodial custody even though she has been with me. He mentioned that he had no way of locating me even thoygh he lived in my parents land a few feet away from them. He hasn't even tried to contact her through my parents even when he visits them doesn't ask for her. How can I get full custody without spending so much if possible? What can I do?
