Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughters father violence resulted in the death of his son, he is currently being held waiting for his sentencing. The child abused was not mine and I am not involved in the case in any way, the only way I'm connected is to appear at court hearings on my daughters half for termination of parental rights. DCF has been involved from the beginning and have been visiting my daughter. Why can they visit my two year old twice a month if I'm not being investigated? Why can they go into my child's daycare and visit her without my consent? Is there anyway I can stop these unnecessary visits? Is it violating my rights by having these people intrude upon my privacy for no reason?

On the more benevolent side, think of it this way: they just want to make sure that your daughter is in no way affected emotionally by being exposed to such a violent father.

On the less benevolent side, think of it this way: what kind of person would have a child with someone so violent that he would actually kill his own son? You only think you're not being investigated, regardless of what they've told you. Consider hiring a dependency defense lawyer.

No, you can't stop these visits which you consider "unnecessary" and an intrusion on your privacy.
