Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My divorce decree has been finalized for a year now. But I would like to change an item in the agreement. Right now my ex and I pay 1/2 for him to come visit our daughter. It costs me the same amount as his child support a month. So can I amend this?

Thanks for any help you can give.

If you both are in agreement generally the court will approve a stipulation. If there is no agreement you would have to file a Petition and litigate the matter.

File a Petition to Modify Visitation and Child Support. Ask for more money and modify the pick up and drop off schedule so that he is paying the brunt of the costs.
