Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

after a divorce is final, but less than a year old - could I go back and ask for Amilmony - I havent been able to recover financially since. An eviction, lost of power - I had a stroke shorty after we separated and so hard to recover we have 1 8 year old daughter together - hes taking to court for a modification of the parenting plan - he stats that I ask him to trade days too often he wants sole now since Im unable

Probably not. Is he even able to pay alimony? Probably not becuase if he was then you probably would have asked for it. Was your timesharing/child support agreed to during the divorce or was there a trial? If it was agreed to and you waived alimony voluntarily in exchange for other concessions regarding the kids, then you might have a leg to stand on. You will probably be better served by trying to qualify for social security/disability.
